In the past week, Beijing Chaoyang Limai School has held two college counselling salon lectures: “Cambridge International High School Curriculum Study Abroad Planning” on October 17th, and “HOSA Knowledge Sharing Session” on October 18th.

在剑桥升学规划沙龙上，升学老师从“剑桥国际高中课程体系介绍”“考试规划”及“爱丁堡公爵奖”三个方面，为剑桥班的学生介绍了在不同年级，我们可以为留学申请做哪些准备，包括剑桥考试季的时间，成绩等级，海外大学录取要求举例，如何使用爱丁堡公爵奖记录日常活动日志，增加课外活动履历等。
In the meeting, the college counselor introduced students from the Cambridge programme to preparations that can be made in different grades for studying abroad application, including an introduction to the Cambridge International High School curriculum, exam planning, and The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
因为属于英国教育课程，有些剑桥班的学生和家长会有疑问，学习了剑桥课程，孩子是不是只能去英国留学。针对这个问题，升学指导老师在沙龙讲座中也做出了回答。作为享誉世界的高中课程体系之一，A Level被称为通往全球大学的“金牌课程”。凭借A Level成绩，学生除了可以报考英国、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚等英语母语国家的大学外，还可以报考新加坡和中国香港的大学。

HOSA Knowledge Sharing Session
10月18日上午，我们邀请了HOSA组委会负责人彭少霖老师，HOSA学术负责人覃秋曲老师和HOSA组委会裴欢老师，为对生物健康领域感兴趣的力迈学生，举办了一场HOSA知识讲座。
On the morning of October 18th, we invited teachers from HOSA Organizing Committee to hold an academic lecture for Limai students interested in Biology.
裴欢老师首先给同学们介绍了HOSA是什么。作为一个极具影响力的生命健康与公益实践素养研习平台，HOSA (Future Health Professionals) 已经经历了47年的历史积累，每年在全球范围内吸引超过26万名学生参加，累计影响学生人数超过350万。
Firstly, Ms. Hesper introduced to the students what HOSA is. As a highly influential platform for life health and public welfare practice and literacy research, HOSA (Future Health Professionals) was founded in 1976. It attracts over 260,000 students worldwide annually and has impacted more than 3.5 million students cumulatively.
HOSA has designed three workshops for students, namely “Academic Testing Center” “Beneficial CE” and “Career-oriented CE” to support students’ growth.
HOSA为学生设计了三大研习，分别为“生化学科基础研习”、“公益影响力实践研习”以及“生命健康专业研习”，助力学生多元成长。
讲座的最后，裴欢老师详细介绍了HOSA 2024活动季的参与流程、报名须知，以及能得到的学术支持。欢迎对生命健康与公益实践方向感兴趣的同学积极参加，也祝愿大家都能有丰富的收获!
At the end of the lecture, Ms. Hesper provided a detailed introduction to the participation process, registration requirements, and academic support available for the HOSA 2024 activity season. Students who are interested in life, health, and public welfare practices are welcome to actively participate. We also wish everyone a fruitful experience!

HOSA生物与健康未来领袖挑战是全球极具影响力的生命健康领域学生活动平台，旨在通过多元的挑战项目、学生社团、领导力峰会等活动体验，激发学生对生命健康领域的兴趣，培养兼具专业知识、领导力及社会责任感的未来生命健康行业领袖。
HOSA竞赛共有三大活动类别，10余项项目可选，同学们可选择1-3个类别，每个类别仅能参与一个项目。HOSA 多元的挑战项目覆盖生命健康领域多个细分学科，包括行为健康(心理学)、营养学、病理生理学、生物实验室、心肺复苏/急救等，帮助学生深度挖掘专业兴趣，构建专业知识体系，衔接大学预选课程。超过 80% 的全球站学生被世界顶尖学府录取。
力迈学校从去年(2022年)开始参加HOSA在中国区(杭州)举办的各类竞赛活动，并取得较好成绩，其中多人晋级中国区总决赛。2023年已有更多学生报名参赛，相信明年会取得更好的成绩。

HOSA项目在北京力迈学校不仅仅是一个竞赛项目，它和学校的升学辅导课程进行了有机的融合，力迈升学老师包括专业课老师加入了升学辅导的团队中来，学校升学辅导变得更具有实操性、多样性和高度扩展性：
实操性体现在HOSA的竞赛或活动的话题和学生们的生活息息相关，即使低年级的学生也能够很容易上手;

力迈学生服务中心为中学生提供升学指导规划一对一服务、国际学术活动报名和参赛指导服务，定期带领学生参加社会公益活动，每学期邀请大学招生官到学校开展大学校园展，与学生面对面沟通大学特色和录取标准。
为高中学生提供多国留学申请服务，从9年级开始建立升学规划目标，每周的升学指导课程以大学的校园文化、专业特点、录取条件、就业背景为主，一对一访谈为学生制定个性化的升学指导档案，从学业规划、生涯规划、挖掘特色和亮点，直到留学申请成功。
Limai Student Service Center provides one-on-one college guidance and planning services for middle school students, as well as assistance with international academic event registration and participation. We regularly lead students in participating in social welfare activities and invite college admission officers every semester to communicate face-to-face with students. We also offer overseas university application services for high school students, starting from 9th grade, and help them establish their goals for further education. Our weekly college guidance courses focus on introductions to admission requirements, academic programs, university life, and employment development. Through personalized one-on-one interviews, we create individualized profiles for students, covering academic and career planning, highlighting their strengths and unique traits, all the way to all students received admission offers successfully.
