9月7日，力迈中美学校二、三、四年级的同学们开学返校了，学校特意为他们召开了2020-2021新学年开学典礼，让同学们精神抖擞地进入新学年。

伴随着国歌，五星红旗冉冉升起，少先队员们庄严肃穆，向着冉冉升起的国旗，敬礼!
随后，同学们齐唱力迈中美学校校歌。他们的右手轻抚胸口，一股暖流油然而生。

刘学言校长在开学典礼上致辞，祝贺力迈中美学校二三四年级同学们迎来新学年。经历了漫长的假期，同学们终于返校上课。新学期，新气象，在这丰收的季节，希望我们的学习生活也能硕果累累。

Mr. Robin' Speech
Dear teachers and students,
My name is Mr Robin and I teach class C4-2. I have worked at Lima for almost five years and taught grades from 1-4. I feel privileged to work at this great school with its fantastic teachers and students. And it is my great honor and pleasure to talk to you during this opening ceremony of the school year. I am particularly happy to welcome our new teachers. We all look forward to working with you in the coming months.
Also, a warm welcome to our students. It has been a challenging year for your studies due to the covid19, but now after a long period of online classes, we are finally returning to school. I hope you are all well rested after the summer holidays and ready to start the school year with determination and enthusiasm.
As teachers we want you all to learn and also enjoy your time at Limai. This can be achieved when we all remember what is expected of ourselves. For this reason, I would like to take this opportunity to go over some of our expectations for you, our students.
We would like attending school on time every morning, Come to school prepared with all necessary materials, Complete and returning homework assignments on time, Respect and cooperate with other students and adults by following classroom and school rules, help to keep the school safe, respecting the individual and cultural differences of others, and lastly, and most importantly work hard to do your best in class and on schoolwork.
Finally, to everyone here today. On behalf of all the foreign teachers, we look forward to the future, working hard and working with the Chinese teachers to cultivate excellent Limai students.

昨天，力迈中美学校二三四年级的同学们来到学校报到，提前上好开学第一课，为新学年学习生活打下基础。
在家一般温暖的校园里，老师和同学们再次见面，分外亲切。
